Get Gorgeous this Summer with Gola

If you’ve heard of Gola, but haven’t yet purchased any of their products, now is the time to do so. The much-loved brand, which has been around since 1905, is known for its quirky designs, practical products and its retro feel, which has ensured that it’s stood its ground as fashions change throughout the years. Versatile, yet unafraid to be bold in an ever-shifting industry, Gola’s one brand that you should invest in this season.

Let’s start with the items you’re probably best acquainted with; Gola bags. These are often found on celebrity shoulders as they make their way around town, doing whatever celebrities do. Our favourites are the Donat Weekend bags (the ones with the cloud design are our favourites; deliciously girlie) or, if you’re after something a bit more subtle, try the black and gold Donat shoulder bag. This’ll look great either on your way to work, the gym or a weekend away. It’s pretty hard to find a decent bag these days than holds more than just your lippy, phone and keys, so if you’re planning an overnight stay anytime soon, we recommend you take a closer look…

Now, onto feet. Winter is slowly ebbing away, so that means we’ll all be exposing more of our legs soon. As well as a pedicure and a (subtle) spray tan, there’s the matter of footwear to ensure you look ready for summer. Gola’s suede trainers would look brilliant with a pair of thick black tights, or skinny jeans – they’re a true spring staple that’ll see you right throughout the year. Just between you and I, we’re falling in love with the purple and pink ones. These spring deck shoes are ace for chaps that don’t want to wear sandals just yet (we agree; slightly premature), but still want to feel footloose and fancy free as they go about their business. They’d look perfect with cream carrot-top trousers and a well-fitted t-shirt…

Finally, may we bring to your attention Gola’s penchant for utterly irresistible designs that the zanier amongst you will love? Arty, ingenious and great to look at, the football-inspired Redford shoulder bag is our fave – the pop-art design will really get you noticed. If you’re into bright colours, the Illusion shoulder bag will certainly get people talking, and it’s not hard to see why. In terms of design, Gola stands head and shoulders above the rest because they’re unafraid to take risks. Their bags might not appeal to everyone, but that’s the point – what’s the point in looking ordinary, if there’s brands out there to help you stand out from the crowd?
